Meet Our People

Boaz has been working in Dagon for the last 16 years. He started his Dagon's journey as the Marine Finfish Hatchery manager, then became Dagon's Chief Scientific Officer, up to his role today as Dagon's General Manager.

Boaz holds an M.Sc in Marine Sciences & Ocean Environment, and an MBA in Finance and Financial Management Services. 

Moti has been working in Dagon for the last 13 years. Making his way, he started as a Live Feed manager, then he managed Dagon's Grey Mullet (mugil cephalus) R&D program, developing skills to become the Marine Finfish Hatchery manager.  Today Moti is Dagon's Chief Operating Officer.

Moti holds a BSc in Marine Sciences and Marine Environment. 

Yuval has been working in Dagon for the last 3 years, as chief biologist in Dagon's fish health laboratory. 

He started his journey in Dagon as the ornamental fish transition pool manager.

Yuval holds a BSc in animal science and biotechnology and an MSc in life sciences.

A member of the Dagon team since 1995, he has started as a freshwater fish breeder, breeding carp, Silver Perch, Hybrid Striped Bass and Koi fish. His role extended to managing the Broodstock department upon establishing the marine finfish hatchery.

Gilad has a BSc in animal science with a Fisheries science specialization and an MSc in Endocrinology of fish reproduction.

Born and raised in Kibbutz Maagan Michael, Yoav Magnus stands as one of Dagon's cooperation co-founders. Yoav played a significant role in shaping Dagon's marine finfish hatchery.

Yoav holds a BSc in Biology and an MSc in fish reproduction.

Lior has been the live-feed manager in Dagon for the last 3 years, cultivating microalgae and rotifer species. She is responsible for data management, Dagon’s international cooperation and social media.

Lior holds a BSc in Animal Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Conservation Biology.

With 15 years of experience at Dagon, Waseem Alkhateeb now manages the Larvae Rearing department. His dedication and expertise have seen him excel in various roles within Marine Finfish departments, including Live Feed, Nurseries, and Broodstock.

Yoav Hirsh has managed Dagon's marine finfish Nursery for the past 2 years. His proficiency was honed through experience in Dagon's ornamental fish department, working with Koi fish and grow-out ponds.

Dafna has been part of Dagon's team for the last 2 years.

She holds a B.A in Social Work and an MPH in Disaster Management
